Annual Report 2024
“I was stuck. I felt like I had no direction. I thought I would never go anywhere in my life. Ever. I had very poor self-worth. I did not even consider returning to school before therapy.
“I just completed my first term with a 99.31% average across 5 subjects. I feel confident, and I have a strong sense of direction now. I’m very motivated, and I feel really good about my life. My life has literally been transformed.”
Stories like this one remind us why access to mental health care is so vital — Calgary Counselling Centre’s impact is reflected in the lives we touch. This year, we expanded Counselling Alberta, provided immediate support to those affected by the Jasper wildfires, and introduced innovative roles to better connect Albertans with mental health resources. We also continued shaping the future of mental health care by training social workers and psychology students, ensuring the next generation of counsellors is equipped to make a lasting difference.
Explore our 2024 impact and the stories behind these efforts as we celebrate the clients, team, and partners who are building stronger, healthier communities for Alberta. Together, we are ensuring that no one faces life’s challenges alone.
