Message from the board

As Board members, there is immense pride in the impact that CCC makes.

Wendy Tynan
Board Chair

For 60 years, the Calgary Counselling Centre (CCC) has been a constant and trusted leader in our community. It is a remarkable milestone and a direct reflection of our incredible team deeply committed to ensuring the best outcomes for clients. CCC has and continues to make a difference, one person, couple and family at a time.

Through innovative programming, agility and responsiveness, CCC is relied on when our community needs help. And that need has never been greater. This past year saw CCC expand province-wide through our new Counselling Alberta initiative, and I would like to thank the Board of Directors for their commitment and support during this transformational launch. I know we all share the same pride in being able to grow capacity and access across the province.

As CCC celebrates our 60th anniversary, we also celebrate, with deep gratitude, the 30th anniversary of our CEO, Dr. Robbie Babins-Wagner. Her impact on CCC and our community are unparalleled, with her leadership at the heart of our dedicated team of staff, counsellors and volunteers who work hard each day with compassion and diligence to serve our clients. Thank you, Robbie.

The strength of our team and ability to seek opportunities to increase access to mental health care are only possible thanks to the generosity and commitment of our donors. Thank you for supporting and investing in the mental health of our community. Thank you for helping us to change lives.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we hope you are inspired and encouraged as your read this year’s Annual Report and share our confidence in the many ways that CCC will continue to meet the needs of our community for decades to come.
